Meet the Co-Founders

Our Story

The concept of Orenn was born from Sujin and Sarah’s pressing need to find support as new parents and recognizing a gap in the family hospitality space. Born and raised in different cities, the co-founders both understood the unique challenges of raising young children in bustling, urban environments. They found that many US cities lack dedicated spaces where families can find support, create joyful memories, and form meaningful connections.

Faced with having to place their own children into adult environments, or being at kid play areas with no thought for the adult, Sujin and Sarah constantly struggled to find aesthetically interesting, non-toxic, sustainable spaces that considered the needs of parents and children alike. They recognized their question of “Where can we go as a family that understands our needs and our children’s needs at the same time?” was one that many other parents were asking too.

With their combined experience in business, hospitality, and design, Sujin and Sarah set out to address this issue by disrupting the current outdated family market, and placing hospitality for the entire family at the heart of the Orenn brand.
